Folgaria Lavarone is a major ski resort in the province of Trento, just 25 minutes from the Rovereto Nord highway exit and 50 minutes from the Piovene Rocchette highway exit. Its 100 km of wide, accessible slopes, nestled in a stunning natural setting, make Folgaria Lavarone a popular destination for skiers and snowboarders. The two ski carousels—Folgaria with 70 km of slopes and Lavarone with 30 km of slopes—form the Alpe Cimbra ski area, which in turn is part of the renowned Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta. The Alpe Cimbra ski area is fully accessible to people with physical and cognitive disabilities, ensuring guaranteed snow-filled fun! Don't miss the 360-degree view of the mountain ranges surrounding Folgaria, from Pasubio to Marmolada, including Adamello, Cevedale, Ortles, the Brenta Group, Catinaccio, and the Piccole Dolomiti Venete. A truly enchanting experience! Among the slopes, we highlight the red run Salizzona and the black run Agonistica in Fondo Grande di Folgaria, as well as the Avez del Prinzep black run in Lavarone. There are six practice slopes at various access points to the ski area, and the Mazinga Park snowpark in Fondo Piccolo. Interesting fact: the US men's national ski team has been training in the Alpe Cimbra ski area for many years. Cross-country skiing: For Nordic skiing enthusiasts, the area boasts two centers: Passo Coe and Millegrobbe, with over 80 km of trails. Alpe Cimbra: The Mountain of Champions!
