Mount Sunapee Resort celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2008. The history of Mount Sunapee took a major turn in 1998 when the State of New Hampshire leased Mount Sunapee to Tim and Diane Mueller, owners of Okemo Mountain Resort in Ludlow, Vermont. Since then, TIm, Diane and the Mount Sunapee Team have been hard at work creating one of the best ski areas in the East.
