Javornik

Th e Javornik ski centre is located in Lome near Črni Vrh nad Idrijo, 20 km from Idrija and 55 km from Ljubljana. Th e ski runs are laid out across the slopes of Javornik and other nearby slopes. The ski resort is characterised by diverse ski runs suitable for beginners and skilled skiers alike. Less than a half-hour drive from the city buzz, the Javornik ski resort is located on the slopes of Javornik (1,242 m above sea level) and Trnovski gozd at 800–1,220 m of altitude. In order to preserve and continue the ski tradition in the area of Črni vrh, the idea to construct a ski resort on the planned location started becoming a reality in 1995. In all these years, the resort has been extended several times and additionally equipped to hold its current image.
