The ski areas in Vals comprise 5 facilities and include about a dozen different slopes of varying degrees of difficulty. Snowboarders appreciate the diversity the mountain landscape Dachberg has to offer as excellent freeride terrain. Carving skiers come into their own on the wide, expansive slopes. At an altitude of just under 3,000 m there is always plenty of snow; farther down, slope conditions are controlled with snow cannons.
