The Mendola Pass is a saddle located between Mount Penegal (1737 m) and Mount Roen (2116 m) and ensures the connection between the Non Valley and South Tyrol. It can be reached in 12 minutes from the village of Sant'Antonio near Caldaro by funicular railway or by car.
The skiable area develops at the Mendola Pass on Mount Roen in the locality of Campi di Golf (1200-1600 m) and at Ruffrè - Mendola on Mount Nock (1218-1342 m).
The blue run on Mount Roen is served by a three-seater chairlift. There is a treadmill for the school camp. On Mount Nock a black slope and a red slope are served by a chairlift that reaches 1342 meters.
The slopes for alpine skiing are suitable for all levels, although the resort, on the whole, is particularly suitable for families seeking peace and relaxation. At Ruffrè - Monte Nock you can ski at night thanks to the illuminated tracks from Tuesday to Friday.
There are also tracks for cross-country skiing: at "Fondo Regole di Malosco" with a ring of 2 - 5 - 8 km and in the vast plain. For snowshoeing there are easy trails at Paradiso - Monte Penegal and medium level trails at Passo Mendola - Monte Roen. The "Ciaspolada" is the highlight of the Epiphany in Val di Non, where snowshoeing was born.
"Nevelandia Roen" is the snow playground with tubing track, carpet, carousel, toboggan run and a small fairy tale village.
The view from the pass is of incomparable beauty: the Dolomites, the Brenta group, the Ortles group. The walks on horse-drawn sleighs or the excursions with sleddog are funny.
